Michael started his career as a Barista in
Fremantle, West Australia, a town largely populated
by Italian immigrants who instilled their coffee
culture in the town and its residents. After many
years working in some of the most respected coffee
houses, he moved to London as a Coffee Educator and
continued to develop coffee culture through holding
regular coffee training schools. He is now the
General Manager of Espressamente illy Malaysia,
illycaffe's boutique espresso bars. He is passionate
about espresso and cappuccino and aims to improve
the quality of espresso based beverages in Malaysia.
